The box isn't exactly heavily loaded (bit of file serving, personal mail server plus local DNS), so using CPU isn't much of an issue.

Reliability is. Ease of installation, as well. It's been a while since I did some serious mucking around in Sun sysadmin tasks (since I had my lobotomy and went manager... ;), so I'm rusty.
