The Ultra Enterprise 2 / Creator is a surprisingly economical box, but will measure power next time it's down to confirm. The Compaq pc next to it gets far warmer.

Compare the internals of any pre U5/10 etc sun box and they look and feel far better engineered than pc's of the same timeframe. As for Intel, a non Intel cpu doesn't execute Intel binaries, so there's one class of risk removed at a stroke...
