mouse and keyboard for 280R

I am luky to get for free 2 sunfire 280R.
I want to use this 2 280R like gateway for a wireless network in some big's congres for a week or more.
For comodity I want to use X on this machines. To do so I install frame buffer like the model I saw in the sun Full Components List for this machines.
how to startX now? ( to access the 280R by network and work on it with X
and may be some things like VNC)
Is it possible (and needed) to find and install mouse and keybord to work ont the 280R like work station? Where can I find this harware?
Is it necessary to install a new harware card for this?
