When doing "boot cdrom" on the OK prompt with V1 cd it comes back saying
"Rebooting with command: boot cdrom"
"Boot device: /pci@1f,0/ide@d/cdrom@1,0:f file args"
"Bad magic number in disk label"
"Can't open disk label package"
And then proceeds to boot according to the eeprom configs.
So either I botched the Adaptec Create CD burn, or I am missing stuff
from that recalcitrant install CD.
I'll go ahead and buy SO7 and use it on Wintel like I now do with SO6.
I spent ten years an avid SunOS and then Solaris Hobbyist, but find I
have little patience left, when all I want is to use it as opposed to
tinker some more.
