That might be the way I'll have to go with Sol. I already stopped
dealing with the SO intermediates, and just wait and buy the final
release CD...
But considering how Sun evolve their product lines, I don't see how one
can avoid the patch headache. Maybe if that was distributed with the SO
CD, but this is wishful thinking. I also see a download mngr being
promoted, so maybe they're slowly moving in that direction.
