Solaris 9 would not easily install on Virtual PC because it tests for
CPU names ("genuineIntel") and Virtual PC gives the wrong answer (for
Solaris).
It was possible to install Solaris 9 by changing the string in the disk
image to "ConnectixCPU" (what Virtual PC announces). I was hoping that
Solaris 10 would be more "open". Is it?
