I have a Mac G5 and a late beta of VPC7 and it's err, not very fast! No
different than VPC6 on a G4 to my subjective 'feel' tests.
I have installed JDS2 in a VPC and it's fairly unuseable for me I'm
afraid - that's with 512mb allocated.
I know it's a beta but from what I've heard the gold release isn't any better.
I've been using QEMU for Mac OSX and it's about the same speed but more
fiddly to setup and install oses.
