Now, before you "plonk" me, ask yourself: Did you actually look at the
pages that come up with googling on "iceauthority chown"????

Here is my analysis of that search, drawn directly from the google results:
Number of resulting pages: ~93
Number of "relevant results" (omitting "similar pages"): 33
Number of pages in ENGLISH: 19
Number of pages discussing my problem at least obliquely: ~12
Number of pages which describe a solution to my problem: 0
Number of pages which describe what libICE or Xauth or ICEauth is/are/do: 0

So I could try it again on Google Groups but I already have and come up
just as short.
