openafs: linux server and sun client experience

Hi folks,

has anybody here tried to run an OpenAFS server on a linux file server
(Redhat9), and serve sun workstations (Solaris8) with it?
I would like to know if there are any particular obstacles that I should
be aware of or that speak generally against this solution. Any
recommendations, experiences, ...?
