Are you using a Sun Type-6 keyboard? Ever since I got a new machine with
these keyboards (and I've tried three different keyboards) I find I am
always getting random duplicate letters while I type. This does not appear
to have anything to do with the key repeat rate which is set to a proper
value and does not seem to be contributing to the problem. I never had
this difficulty with the Type 3, 4 or 5 keyboards.
