(shrug) I was trying to explain to the guy that, whoever told him "u"
and so on would be effective ways to communicate, was wrong. Obviously
he knows the right words and has chosen, for whatever reason, not to use
them. In a field where precise use of characters and punctuation is
somewhat important,
