Hi all
I've create a mksysb from a running SP node (AIX 4.3.3 ML11) and try to
install this image on an other (new) node in the same cluster. On this
node there was a AIX 4.3.3 ML10 installed and the machine has running
fine all the time...
First I set the node to install (spbootins ...) then do a nodecond
<frame><slot>
The NIM installation was set to noprompt and complete overwrite.
The first result was an error which says not enough to generate
filesystems and/or logical volumes.
OK, without any idea why this happens I boot the node in diag mode and
format the two internal hd's (hdisk0 and hdisk1 - each 36 GB) and again
a nodecond like before. Now the installation process can create all the
lv's and fs's and ended without any error. Now the node begins to reboot
until I saw in a s1term window the RS/6000 logo - thats it - then tehre
appears an error which says: -- unrecognized client program format --
and an error code of 20EE000B on the console - the LED shows me a code
of 4BA00830 (?). A search for the 20EE000B says, that the deblocker
cannot be load and the reason should a to low microcode for AIX 4.3.3
- but this is impossible, because the node was running for long time
with AIX 4.3.3 the last months with ML10.
Anyx hints or tips to point me in the right direction ??
Friedhelm
Please send any answers also to
it's really urgent ...
Thx
