Thanks, I see that has the ability to test a tape drive too, but I
can't be bothered tonight to do this, as the IBM is in the garage and
I can only use it by a remote login. I got rather fed up running
up/down stairs moving the write protect tab, pushing the tape in/out
etc. I'll do that another day.
