Easiest way to do this would be to clone the rootvg to the new disk and then
just reboot from there and remove the old one.

Use the /usr/sbin/alt_disk_install program.
You may have to install the program as this is not installed with a default
installation.
"smitty alt_disk_install" and follow the prompts. When completed (about 10
mins) and if you have choosen to reboot the system you will come up on the
new disk and a "lsvg" command will show you 2 vg's and it will be very
evident which is which.

If you wish to revert back to your orginal disk just use the "bosboot"
command -
bosboot -m normal hdisk0
and you will be back to the orginal disk.

I am assuming hdisk0=9.1GB and hdisk1=18.2GB in this situation.
