Hi
I have a 6H1 with 4 750MHz CPUs, 4GB Memory an an Advanced SSA Adapter
with one 7133-D40 connected. I use two looks. In the disk encloshure
are 8 9gb disks, two 18gb disks and six 36gb disks. each configured
for raid1.
i have performance problems with the oracle 8.1.7 installation. the
cpu´s will have 64 to 98% wio´s.
i have tested the thoughput of the disks with dd if=/dev/hdisk7
of=/dev/null bs=1024k (36 gb raid 1 disk). the maximum of transferrate
was 5mb/s. i think it shoult be between 15-25mb/s.
have anyone a idea, what is wron here?
Regards, Hubert
