Hi,

I have a AIX box and a PC(windows 2000). But I only have one internet
connection.I want to connect the internet cable to the AIX machine and
use the
AIX machine as gateway for PC to connect to internet. I have two
network adapter(ethernet) on the AIX machine. I have a switch that is
used to conect the PC with the second ethernet adapter on AIX machine
to establish a private network.

I did following:
1. On AIX machine, config ip for the second adapter as 192.168.1.2
2. On PC, config ip as 192.168.1.3 and make 192.168.1.2 as its default
gateway.
3. On AIX machine, set ipforwadring=1 by using no -o
4. The first adapter on AIX has been set up properly and default
gateway for it
to connect to outside also works right.

Now I can ping the AIX machine from PC. But I can't acees the outside
network from PC. Now my question is:

Does anyone know what else do I need to do to make the AIX machine as
a gateway?

Thanks in advance!

Frank
