Is sendmail a client-server daemon
why sendmail is bundeled in fileset bos.net.tcp.client?
I see mostly a daemon/sub-server running on most boxes.
In our environment one Novell machine is email server, and all our AIX
machines are so-called clients.
If I have to say replace this email server with an AIX one. The steps
needed would be done on top of same sendmail sub-server/daemon or it
would be some thing different from socalled sendmail client.

Is it just configuration which makes the difference or there is as
such no client server concept involved here?

Help me with this
