Definitions:
"Import a disk into a volume group" means "read the VGDA and create a
VG with the filesystems on the disk based on the info in the VGDA.
This is donw via 'importvg'"
"Extend a volume group" means "blow away the VGDA on the disk in
question and lose all information on it, and add it to volume group x.
This is done via 'extendvg'"
