We have been running oracle 8.1.7.2 on our S80 with AIX 4.3.3 ML10 for
over two years. There has been no changes to the database and we have
checking for data corruption. In the last two weeks the oracle
database has crashed twice with oracle 600 errors:
ORA-600 [2032] "corrupt block during redo generation"
ORA-600 [4519] "Block Corruption Detected - Cache type wrong"
ORA-600 [5020] "due to an error in extent format processing in the
segment header"
ORA-600 [2662] "Block SCN is ahead of Current SCN"
The system error log shows:

Unable to generate symptom string.
Oracle keeps pointing their finger at the hardware, but there is
nothing being logged in the error log.
Has anyone else seen this problem before?
