Please help me or give me a pointer on how to configure the AIX 5.1system to be a standalone system without ethernet connection.
The System was originally connected to the network and I want to use it without the ethernet cable plug-in.
I have try using "ifconifg en0 detach" and rename /etc/resolv.conf as well as specify using netsvrc.conf to read local host. I' still got tooltalk error and get myself into failsafe mode.
Apparently, /var/dt/Xerrors has errors like ":0.0" refused by Server.
uname -a and ifconfig lo0 all seems to be ok. Any idea to troubeshoot the problem?
Thanks.
