AIX -ftp and other network transfers rates are slow aix 4.3.3

    fast ethernet at full duplex 100mbs

    i have tested transfering files from win98/2k/xp , SuSE 9, Redhat9
    -always the max trans rate is about 2mb/Min (not second!)

    i can't upgrade the O.S. at the moment -it would harm other software.

    i didn't notice any fixes in the news groups archives.

    has anyone been able to solve this?
