Well, from the TSM server you can do a select statement, something
like:
select distinct description from archives
Not sure that you can do it from the client side, I think the dsmc
query archive lists files that are archived.
And, for future questions, there is a mailing list for TSM questions,
ADSM-L. Send an email to LISTSERV@VM.MARIST.EDU, with
subscribe ADSM-L <your name>
as the body of the email.
