I have a couple of S80s with AIX4.3.3.1, one as the standby for the other
using HACMP. We have started getting performance problems with MQ over the
last few weeks, and on doing an MQVER we found the CSD reported (04)
disagreed with the lslpp info from the ODM (CSD06). On invesigation we can
see that MQ 5.3 CSD06 was applied at exactly the same time as an update to
bos.rte.odm (4.3.3.76). So, some questions
1) Could applying both at the same time have caused the issue above?
2) How do you recover from an ODM corruption - noting that we are assuming
the corruption occured at the time of the update (but it may have been
earlier)?
3) Has anyone else experienced a similar performance problem?
Cheers
Colin
