I'll be patching this weekend and based on kind advice from this
group's users, I plan on breaking the boot (on rootvg) mirror so I have
something to fall back on if it blows up after adding ML 11.
Is smit rmlvcopy desctructive? Can I go back to the hdisk1 if hdisk0
is unhappy after the patching?
Or should I just do this:
rmlvcopy hd5 1
Which would just be for my boot partition:
# lsvg -l rootvg
rootvg:
LV NAME TYPE LPs PPs PVs LV STATE MOUNT
POINT
hd5 boot 1 2 2 closed/syncd N/A
hd6 paging 32 64 2 open/syncd N/A
hd8 jfslog 1 2 2 open/syncd N/A
hd4 jfs 6 12 2 open/syncd /
hd2 jfs 98 196 2 open/syncd /usr
hd9var jfs 24 48 2 open/syncd /var
hd3 jfs 6 12 2 open/syncd /tmp
hd1 jfs 45 90 2 open/syncd /home
Thanks in advance
