Error when installing Backup into new Flash disk

    Good day guys,
    i had some problem i cannot install the backup form my Dat tape into my
    new Flash disk.
    The detail are as follow;

    Version : AIX 3.2
    SCSI hard disk : Maxtor 540MB SCSI
    Model : MXT-540S

    Your harddisk model : S35FA-512CO1
    hard disk capacity : 512MB SCSI> Is the S35FA being added to this
    system, or has it been in operation ?

    installation equipment : DDS drive unit and a backup tape.

    During the installation, there are a few choices;

    AIX Basic Operation System Information....

    1)Install AIX.
    2)Install a system that was created with the SMIT
    "Backup the system".
    3)Install the system for use with a "/usr" server.
    4)Start a limited function maintanence shell.

    We choose option 2 as this is the option we use for our own hard
    disk.What do you mean by "the option we use for our own hard disk." ?
    What is our own disk, the Maxtor 540 MB ?

    After the system prompt us on:
    "Current system settings"
    1. Input installation device.
    2. Destination disks.
    3. Startup (Boot) disk.

    99 Return to pervious Menu.
    0 Install a SMIT "Backup System" image with the current setting.Is
    this "0" selection part of the previous menu ?
      If not, what was selected from the "Current system settings" menu.

    We choose "0"
    And the system prompt us to Enter "0" to continue with installation.

    The system start the installation and the following are show on the
    screen,

    Retrieving file system size from install media....

    0516-62 Lcreatevg: Unable to read or write logicial volume manager
    record.
     PV may be permanetly corrupted. Run Diagnostics.Please check your
    documentation for the meaning of this message.
    Can you tell if the error was posted due to a read or write ?
    What was the results from :Run Diagnostics ?

    0516-862 Mkvg : unable to create Volume Group.
    The install process has encounter the following error:
    Mkvg : failed with return code 1.Please check your documentation for
    the meaning of this message.
    What error recovery action is suggested for this error ?

    ID# option
    1 Continue
    2 Perform system maintanence and then continue.What selection was made
    from this Menu ?
