Ummmm...have you taken a look at smit console -> assign console; last
time I checked, a system can't have a "spare" console hanging around);
it's a ttyX OR lftX (I don't have access to my AIX system at the moment
so I'm working from memory).
Open to corrections but would like to see the proof :-)
