I am trying to get familiar with nim to see if it will help with doing mksysb for several systems. I have about 12 servers that I do regular
mksysb's on and have to move resources to accomplish this. Can a NIM
server be used to write all these mksysb's to and then just back it up
to send offsite?

Re: Moving from AIX 5.2 to 5.3 ... You can do a live migration of 5.2 to 5.3 onthe spare disk using NIM... I did nim-adm for my ~20 servers without error nor incident. ... (comp.unix.aix)
