There are two choices on the Cisco side LACP or PAGP, but I think the
entire
module or blade must use one protocol. So all ports including uplinks
must be
the same. PAGP is the Cisco default, if that is what network tells you
to use
then set your mode to "round_robin". LACP is the 802.3ad IEEE
equivalent
and you would set your mode to "8023ad". In my testing with my network
folks
this is what I found to work best, I have great communication with my
network
team.
Use "entstat -d ent2" assuming you created a channel(ent2) from ent0
and ent1
to show status of the links, make sure to set speed/duplex accordingly
before
creating channel as you lose the ability to manage underlying adapters
once
you aggregate.
