Dan, you are so THE MAN!!
i'm really more of a linux/solaris guy... AIX is something of a
strange beast, isn't it? the more i learn about it, the more i see how
different it really is from other *nix's. I have to say, I've learned
way more valuable info from you just now than I have reading IBM
redbooks for the past 2-3 days! Thank you, sir. Your skills are
bas-ass, and your tips are to the point. the IBM documentation guys
could learn something for you (the performance tuning redbook i'm
reading now is 1000+ pages)!
I'll let you know tommorrow when I find out more.
