Unable to telnet to AIX server

Hello,

After rebooting an AIX server I'm unable to connect to it. If I
try to telnet it connects, but I get a blank screen. The rest of
services are not started (sshd, and so...). any ideas?
What makes the problem worse is that the server has no graphic
card and I've got no console, is there a way to get a serial console
connecting a serial cable from a laptop to the server? how?
The server is a pseries p520.

Thanks
Nestor Sanz
