are you talking about the image.data file on the mksysb backup, or the
new target system?

The one in the mksysb you try to install. The easiest solution is to edit the image.data ile on the source system and take an new mksysb (without -i).

You could unpack the mksysb (restore), edit the image.data and repack it (backup), but this takes a lot of temporary disk space.
