Thank you for your reply.
I did 'run' over to the IBM site and got the tools as advised, ran
'lsc', which reports
a L2 cache size of 4096 (Kilobytes), with L2 cache associativity set to
4 (whatever
that means).
I not sure what all this means, but I do have access to another machine
running the
same processor(s), so will run this tool on the other machine before I
draw any
conclusions.
