Re: SSA_ARRAY_ERROR

Hi Marcus,

I think that when you change a disk in a SSA RAID array you must first remove it from
array, before using rmdev -dl pdisk6.
Changes in SSA RAID disk can be done using "SSA RAID Utilities" from "diag" program.
After you remove old disk and put the new disk, and issue cfgmgr -vl ssar, you
should run again diag and add the disk on the RAID array and eventually issue a synchronization.

Hope I'm not too wrong.

Hello Eric,

thanks for answering so quickly. We didn´t define hotspare disks for
our SSA-Arays. So it couldn´t be a possibility for this fault. Do you
have any other idea?
