Re: HBA Install - AIX 4.3.3 df1001f8

this is a Bull configured card.
You have 2 possibilities:
get the Bull driver
reconfigure the straps to change the PCI id and use the Emulex driver
this is for a LP9002 but the same straps are available on a LP8000.
F901: Bull JX1 2-3 JX2 1-2
F900: Emulex JX1 1-2 JX2 2-3
1AE5: ?? JX1 2-3 JX2 2-3

I've got an HBA that I pulled from a Bull Escala running 4.3.3. I'm
trying to get it to work in a 7026-H70 also running 4.3.3-11.

My problem is that even after installing all the available FC Adapter
drivers from the OS CD, I get the following error when running CFGMGR:

cfgmgr: 0514-621 WARNING: The following device packages are required
for
device support but are not currently installed.
devices.pci.fibre-channel:devices.pci.df1001f8:
devices.pci.df1001f8:devices.pci.pciclass.0c0400

I cannot for the life me seem to track down the
devices.pci.df1001f8.*.bff files ANYWHERE. I tried going here:
ftp://www7b.boulder.ibm.com/aix/fixes/byCompID/5765C3403/devices.pci/

and the files i'm looking for are skipped COMPLETELY.

I was fortunate enough to pull 2 of these HBA's and find their EMULEX
part number: 2300031.

Anybody else have this problem? Can anyone help?
