finger command output is different between AIX 4.3.3 and AIX 5.3

AIXers,

The "finger" command output appears differently between
AIX 4.3.3 and AIX 5.3.

finger output in AIX 4.3.3:
Login Name TTY Idle When Site Info
root System p2 Tue 07:57
root System p6 2 Mon 08:39

finger output in AIX 5.3 has a lot of blank lines:
Login Name TTY Idle When
Site Info
root

System
*l0 1d Tue 07:28

root

System
p7 1 Tue 07:29

root

System
p28 Tue 07:56


Is there a setup or config in AIX 5.3 to make the output from "finger"
appear like it does
in AIX 4.3.3?
