Re: csm.server

Quick question.

If I am not running a cluster, would I have any use for csm.server?

It is the only package standing in my way to 5300-05, and I would rather remove it than install all of the freeware dependencies.

By the way, what is up with that?

Thanks in advance,

SG

A heads up for anybody installing 5300-05 onto a server that uses VIO devices for rootvg. My reboot after the update hung with a "0581". I will be opening a PMR with IBM on Monday. I believe this eventually times out after 4 hours (It did the first time around), but rootvg comes up with one device and naturally flags the lv's as stale.
