Hello,

I've a rather strange effect with AIX 5.3 ML4 running on a 7043-260.
When I use Cygwin-X or Solaris 10 CDE as my X server I can start
applications like xterm, xcalc or xconsole on the AIX server without any
problems. They display properly on my X-server.
xclock or xload on the other hand don't show up on the remote display.
They just don't show up, no error messages on the screen or anywhere
else. When I start them on the localy attached monitor they show up as
usual.

Any idea why some applications work and some don't?

Thorsten

Thorsten,
