Hi Dmitri,
I got the problem solved temporarily by calling "su -c <scriptname>"
from my master build script as I needed to invoke a second script to
call mkinstallp. So I got around that one problem.
However, I've run into another problem now which is that mkinstallp
outputs what seems to be a cryptic error message to me:
Using test.template as the template file.
lslpp: 0504-125 Error while processing fileset /opt/test/lib/
Resource.
lslpp: 0504-308 Cannot match fileset name with fileset ID.
lslpp: 0504-125 Error while processing fileset /opt/test/Resource/
Decoding.
lslpp: 0504-308 Cannot match fileset name with fileset ID.
The .bff package gets created fine. I am also able to install it using
"installp -agYX -d ...". However, when I uninstall the package the two
directory paths listed above (in the error output) do not get deleted.
I've looked over my mkinstallp template file dozens of times and
cannot spot what is wrong with it. The template file is autogenerated
by a script file so I don't think there are any problems with it. The
two directory paths listed above are also present in my build root
directory and have the correct ownership and permissions.
So I cannot understand why I get these error messages when running
mkinstallp.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
.
