Press the form feed button on the printer, or send a form-feed character
(^L) to the printer: perl -e 'print chr(12)' > /dev/lpt0

Some of the low-end HP lasers are Winprinters; if this is one of those,
it doesn't have brains enough to process text, and you need a more
complicated setup as a print filter.
