This is probably something simple so I have to ask;
I've tried a few creative moves to get fetchmail working at boot to no
avail.
The machine I'm using is designed as gateway/router/firewall mailserver,
running 4.7
I can start the daemon from the command line but no matter what fetchmail.sh
script I put in /usr/local/etc/rc.d
chmod 0750 owned root/wheel I always get :
local package initialization : /etc/rc: /usr/local/etc/rc.d/fetchmail.sh not
found
I copied the local_startup="/usr/local/etc/rc.d ...." line into /etc/rc.conf
from /etc/rc.conf.defaults
but still no joy.
Any ideas?
