I thought I'd shutdown the new 5.1 FBSD server , but obviously not.
Now I can't get it to boot.....just sits there with above err msg.
Last 2 lines on screen are
Mounting root from ufs:/dev/ad0s1a
WARNING: / was not properly dismounted
It's been an hour or more now.
On the old server (v4.5) this msg would come up, for a while while a
"scandisk" was done.
Then the boot would continue.
Whats with 5.1?
How do I get out of this? (Simple step by step would be great. Still new at
this unix stuff)
Many TIA
