Numerous recent security advisories

What is it recently, there seem to be a lot of security advisories?

Am I the only one who doesn't bother to read them - I just cvsup, build the
world/kernel and hope it caught the updated source!

Most seem to do with secure shell (OpenSSH) etc.. - it does seem this is
being targeted heavily recently.
