WTF!!!

I left for work , came back and my FreeBSD is fucked.
MY KDE is ridiculously slow, i have to wait a very noticeable amount
of time before any app launches, or before I can log in. Pinging any machine
on the internet requres 100 ms more than usual.

in my absense there have been no erros, and no logins
I was just wondering if anyone encountered that or a similar problem
