OT:MSN and Gaim

Has MSN recently pulled a Yahoo and changed their protocols? I tried
logging on to MSN Messenger today with Gaim and get a 'protocol not
supported' error with 'user disconnected'.

The gaim site at sourceforge does not mention this.
