Why would that be? I mean, how is the VM being tickled differently during
sysinstall to not touch that bug during normal operation?

Meaning that _all_ n00bs will run into that, given k1dd13s's universal
fetish for dowloading as many isos as you can prior to installing.

This *looks like* it's serious enough to postpone releasing 5.2 for it.
Then again, I'm not a core@ member so it's not my call to decide that. :-)
