In response to the two. I have an ATI AIW r128 video card. As far as I
know the GATOS project does work with FreeBSD, I had it working sometime
ago with freebsd 4.7 and xf86 4.1 or 4.2. So don't give up hope. I don't
use the TV tuner anymore b/c I don't watch TV anymore. But if you must,
then d/l the xf86 gatos drivers for XF86. They should work in FreeBSD b/c
it's XF86 gatos deals with, and not specifically anything with BSD
architecture. You'll see some "extra" information in /var/logs/XF86.0.log
if you've installed the gatos drivers correctly. Something about tv tuner
detected and whatnot.

Mind the obscurities and the lack of specifics.
