Thanks, Bob and Patrick, seems like the same issue arises, as I keep
finding.
There seems to be as many people on the pros side of the fence as on the
cons.

Personally, I think the dc should install an image as a default
partitioned layout, mainly because thats what I use at home, but its
pretty hard to find a really convincing argument against the single
partition setup, at least convincing enough to make the dc techs change
their image.

One last thing though. Is it possible to add/alter/remove partitions
remotely without single user mode ?
I would say no, but some-one has mentioned that they can write a script to
perform this function.

Any ideas ?
