Greetings,
I recently tried installing a word processor (openoffice or staroffice)
but both failed to compile properly. To solve dependency problems I had
to add a few X11 related packages. After logging out I now found out
that my X window environment no longer works properly.
After typing startx I get the shaded background with the X shaped mouse
pointer. So far so good, but my window manager doesn't load. I checked
my .xinitrc which is unchanged. I run the fluxbox window manager.
Can anyone hint me in the right direction to get this back working ...
Sven
