FreeBSD usb pendrive problems

    Hi everybody,

    I am hoping somenone could help me with problem. I have a pendrive
    that I can mou nt in FreeBSD. However when I detach the pendrive from
    the usb port the mount directory and it's contents remain accessable.
    It would seem that the detach command doesn't work becaused the device
    was ready removed before it can run umount. Frequently I've found
    myself with two pendrives mounted. Can anyone suggest anything to
    help me with this? Thanks.
