Hello

i am planning a file server based on freebsd.
for the stabilizty of the system I would like to
know what is the maximum number (if there is)
of files I can store in a directory?
will i run into trouble (besides of a long ls) when
havin 300000+ files in a directory?
I made a test script which touched the amount
of files but i am not satisfied because its not
the real world having 300000 0kb files.
thanks a lot
Josh
